Board & Board Refunds
Board Dining on Campus Award-winning Dining Services offers innovative, nutritious and contemporary menus with a wide selection of choices at four Dining Commons (DCs) and at over 20 dining locations across campus. From display cooking, traditional and international dishes, comfort foods, pizza, grill items, pasta, salad, sushi, and omelet bars, to noodle bowls, vegan and vegetarian selections; UMass Dining provides an array of options to fit the dietary needs and desires of students. Menus, designed by a task force of students, managers, chefs, registered dietitian, pastry chef, and executive chef, are based on sound nutritional guidelines, surveys of student food preferences, mystery shoppers’ reports, and comments from students and staff. The four DCs are open seven days a week during the semester and serve students with all-you-care-to-eat dining options. Dining is continuously available from 7am until midnight and all DCs have wireless internet available. If you do not have time to dine, the Grab n’ Go program allows you to pick your favorite sandwiches, salads, snacks and beverages to enjoy on the run. The retail dining operations located across campus offer generous hours of operation and a creative array of traditional, international, comfort food and contemporary cuisine menu items. The Residential Meal Plans offer meals in the DCs with a set number of guest meals and exchanges to be eaten in the retail operations. Your Campus Meal Plans (YCMP) offer the choice of eating in any of the DCs or in any of the over 20 retail dining operations located across campus. However, the retail units are not all-you-care-to-eat operations so students are limited to a certain dollar amount when eating in retail. All meal plans are optional, however, they are available to graduate students and they include:
