Career and Professional Development Advising

As part of SBS Pathways, students begin their career and professional development early in their undergraduate experience in order to ensure the integration of their total university experience and a successful transition from school to work or to further study. The SBS Office of Career & Professional Development (part of the SBS Advising Resource Center) provides programs and assistance to College of Social and Behavioral Sciences students for career and professional development.

Staff are available to help students make intelligent, well-informed career choices, and to provide undergraduates with opportunities to obtain experience through internships, cooperative education, and service learning programs.

For further information on career and field experience services, please consult the college's website at www.umass.edu/sbs/advising-sbs/career-advising.
