Transfer Applicants
The College of Engineering welcomes transfer applications.  Community college students are encouraged to enroll in, and complete, an approved engineering transfer program in preparation for transfer to UMass Amherst.  For additional information, please call the Office of Student Affairs, tel. Transferring into the College of Engineering from Other Majors
Students already on campus in other majors or undeclared, who have an interest in engineering, should complete the following courses before applying for a change of major to PR-ENGIN: ENGLWRIT 112, Math 131, and either Physics 151 or Chem 111.  Grades of "C" or better are required in these courses.  Students must be in good academic standing when applying.  Interested students are encouraged to meet with an adviser in the Office of Student Affairs, 126 Marston Hall.
