Career Opportunities
The B.S. degree in Environmental Science leads to a variety of career opportunities in private industry and governmental agencies concerned with environmental quality assessment and compliance, non-governmental environment programs, and interagency coordination in environmental quality maintenance. Environmental Science majors are prepared for immediate employment upon program completion. Many graduates will continue studies at the graduate level in such diverse fields as environmental microbiology, ecotoxicology, soil science, hydrogeology, conservation biology, water resource management, environmental science education, environmental engineering, and environmental law. |
