Career Opportunities

The Operations & Information Management major is an integrated view of operations and information management which gives our students a competitive advantage in the marketplace and meets the needs of the industry.  Operations managers make decisions that impact the design and coordination of business purposes that govern the creation and delivery of goods and services.  Operations managers use technology-driven, process-oriented thinking to manage and improve business process and operations, and thereby make efficiency and productive gains.  The practical application of computing to business problem-solving is an essential skill for operations managers.  OIM students have access to many internship and permanent placement opportunities across a range of industries spanning segments such as logistics, information technology, food, pharmaceutical, office supply and aerospace.
