Master of Public Health Degree (MPH) in Nutrition Degree ProgramThe MPH degree is designed to provide advanced training in public health and nutrition to nutritionists, public health practitioners, and those with advanced degrees including Ph.D., M.D., R.D., R.N., C.H.E.S., and PharmD. In addition to coursework, a 3-credit practicum is required. This program prepares graduates for practice and career advancement in a public health nutrition setting. Admission requirements:
Course Requirements: 35 creditsPublic Health: (15 credits)BIOSTATS 540: Introductory Biostatistics Nutrition: (17 credits)EPI 634 - Nutritional Epidemiology Electives: (3 credits)A 3-credit Graduate Course in Nutrition Practicum (3 credits)NUTRITN 698: Nutrition Practicum Capstone Project or Additional Coursework: (6 credits)NUTRITN 696: Independent Study Project and Oral Project Presentation Webinar M.P.H. Online/DI ProgramThis is a 27-month program for a small number of interns who work concurrently on an online M.P.H. degree in Nutrition (providing 44 graduate credits) plus a Dietetic Internship (providing 12 graduate credits). The program begins in May and ends in August of the following year. Course Requirements - M.P.H.
