Dual Degree Option: Master of Education/Master of Public Policy and Administration

The Center for Public Policy and Administration (CPPA) and the College of Education have collaborated to offer a dual Master of Public Policy and Administration (M.P.P.A.) and Master of Education (M.Ed.) with a concentration in Higher Education within three years of full-time study. The M.P.P.A./M.Ed. option requires that students complete 66 total credits, 36 in the College of Education's Higher Education concentration and 30 through CPPA.  With prior approval, a required internship and practicum in each program may be completed simultaneously. Applicants must meet admission requirements and be accepted by both CPPA and the College of Education to qualify for the dual degree option.  Students currently enrolled in either program may also apply to the other program during their first year to matriculate as a M.P.P.A./M.Ed. candidate.

Additional information regarding M.P.P.A. program options is available in the Public Policy and Administration section of this Bulletin.

Additional information regarding the Master of Education degree with a concentration in Higher Education is available in the Education section of this Bulletin.
